It’s Christmas Eve and we’re having eels!
Obana – Minami Senju/Unagi
It seems to be a famous restaurant. It seems that you can’t make a reservation and there is a line before the restaurant opens. So be sure not to be late.
The neighbors lined up first, and 12 of us gathered at Minami-Senju station. We were the first to get there.
I see, it takes less than an hour before the eel comes out to start processing after receiving an order. As long as it is this method, I realized that it is difficult to make a reservation.
I was worried that because it is a long-established store, they might be uptight, but they are not at all. The staff was very polite and helpful.
It took a while but it was very cozy.
Now, the important part, the unajyu, was simply wonderful! The fluffy finish, this kind of texture is certainly something you can’t experience at other eel shops. It wasn’t greasy, and it was much more refreshing than I expected. But the taste was rich.
And the sauce was much lighter than I thought it would be.
Unagi Now” with a total of 12 people was just a state of terror. We apologize for that.
There was a line even this time of year, but it seems to be really great in the summer. It was a great restaurant to visit again.
