On Saturday, I went to watch a golf game for the first time in a long time. I don’t take photos at golf games, so I don’t have many pictures (tears).
Since I was a small child, I have often played golf under the influence of my father, and because I lived in the eastern part of Shizuoka Prefecture, I often went to watch professional golf tournaments that were held relatively close by.

We were a little worried about the weather, but it cleared up and we were able to enjoy the game in the moderate heat surrounded by greenery.

I heard that the winner, Fujimoto, is only a rookie in his first year as a pro. How wonderful! He said his hobby is saving money, and his sponsor is a bank, so he has a good sense of humor.
I don’t think I’ve heard of many people around me who watch golf. It’s true that it’s not easy to get the chance to go, and even if you do, the atmosphere is a bit unique, so you might be a bit confused at first.
The reason for this may be that most of the events are held in rural areas or suburbs, so it’s hard to get to.
Yes, watching a golf game is like “having a lot of freedom”. You can watch at any hole, you can follow any player.
However, the course is large and the gallery is located at the edge of the course, so it may be a little hard to walk to all the holes to watch. My favorite part of the course is that you can strategize which holes to go to and where to wait.
