Fast Food in France Part 1: Mezzo di Pasta

2013 France

This is my first diary after returning home.

Fast food is sometimes a good idea when traveling independently. It’s a great way to save time.

Of course, there are a lot of fast food chains in France, but this is the first time I’ve heard of this restaurant, and I found it quite delicious.

Mezzo di Pasta : Des pâtes fraîches… & beaucoup de saveurs http://www.mezzodipasta.fr/

It’s a pasta fast food restaurant.

It’s often said that pasta in France is bad, but I don’t think you can go wrong with this chain!

I used it at a service area on the highway during Bordeaux and Low World Live.

Prices range from 6 to 8 euros, and the standard menu includes pasta and a drink: 1. choose the sauce, 2. choose the pasta, 4. choose the type of cheese to put on it, and 4. choose the drink.

There are a few different sauces, but they are mostly standard ones like Bolognese and Carbonara.

There were two (or was it three?) main types of pasta. You can choose from the standard type (Amori, I think it’s called? But it looks more like fusilli) and tortellini.

1 euro more for tortellini. The tortellini comes with a choice of meat or cheese.

There seem to be two types of cheese, French type and Italian type, but at the Loire service area, we could only choose Italian.

In the photo above, the sauce is carbonara and the pasta is tortellini (meat). It was so good!

フランスの街などで少し観光に時間をかけたい、効率よく回りたい、なんて思った時に利用してみてはいがかでしょうか?
