It was the last lesson of the year. It’s over now, but I’d like to sing a Christmas song that I left unfinished.
In the bass part, I still can’t turn my fingers well and I can’t play the notes well, but I think I’m making some progress.
I think the biggest issue is my embouchure. It’s an overwhelming lack of practice. I can’t seem to get the shape of my mouth right.
But it’s my fourth instrument, so my main goal is to take it slow and easy. I want to be good at it, but I don’t want to force myself to be good at it.
