フランスで最も美しい村巡りblogは一段落つきましたが、旅行記はあと少し残っています。本日は世界遺産の「ナンシーのスタニスラス広場、カリエール広場、アリアンス広場」。
After visiting various beautiful villages in Alsace, we drove for a couple of hours to Lorraine. Nancy is a big city in Lorraine.
This is actually my second time there. I visited once in August last year, but it was raining that time…. And it was raining quite hard.
That’s why I wanted to get revenge.
The weather was somewhat downhill this time, but still sunny!
This square is “Stanislas Square”, and I had been there once, so I remembered how to get there, how to drive there, and where the parking lot was.
By the way, the World Heritage Sites are Stanislas Square, Carriere Square, and Arians Square.
The “Place de la Carrière” is located in front of the Arc de Triomphe in Stanislas Square.
Another one is “Ariens Square”, but it’s just a square and not worth seeing, that’s why I don’t have any photos left…
Well, I decided to stay in this city because the time was just approaching evening.
I decided to stay at this hotel in Stanislas Square. It was surprisingly cheap. Of course I didn’t make any reservation.
But this hotel, it was not good! The restaurant is not good, and the room is not so good…. Honestly speaking, I think we didn’t need to stay in this city.
However, this square is still beautiful…
Before leaving the next morning, I took a walk around the square in the early morning, which was much quieter than the day before, and left the city.
Yes, I remembered the panoramic photo shooting function of NEX in this city and used it even though the trip was coming to an end.
Why didn’t I see it sooner…
After taking a handful of photos, we returned to the parking lot behind the plaza where we parked and picked up our car.
ナンシーを出てとりあえず北へ、ルクセンブルク方向へと車を走らせました。次はメッスという街に向かいます。
