After an hour’s drive from the impressive Burgos Cathedral, we arrived at our next stop, Carrión de los Condes.
However, there are several towns that you will pass through between Burgos and Carrión de los Condes.
The French Way (Camino Francés)

We took a bit of a wrong turn after getting off the highway, so we entered the city from the west. (The pilgrimage goes from east to west.)
I crossed this end and went to the city.
There was a nice large public parking lot, so it was easy to park. Free of course.
It’s a nice town that’s clean and neat in places, but still retains some of the old facilities and sights. The small scale is also just right.
After all, we see pilgrims really often today.
The alleyways in this city were very impressive.
This hostel is located along the street. You can also take meals here.
There are no convenience stores on the way.
And the religious center of the city. The church is called “Santa Maria Carrion”.
Mary towering in front of the church, maybe?
The order of sightseeing is reversed, but originally you will enter the city from the east side here.
Statues like this one welcome pilgrims.
The guide board is also like this.
If you look at the foot, you will occasionally see this relief.
それにしてもあいも変わらずの快晴、まもなく午後5時ですが、スペインの西側では日没までまだまだ5時間近くあります。もちろん観光を続けます。
