Date of visit: May 14, 2013, around 2:00 p.m.
So, after three years, I’m back! This is the Miyo Bridge.
I also took a video of the drive.
I remember that three years ago, I forgot to stop at this service area just north of the Miyo Bridge.
So I didn’t forget to go in this time.
Look at the view!
Incidentally, the Tarn River flows at the foot of the Millau Bridge.
The river by the village of Brusses-le-Château that we visited earlier is also the Tarn.
By the way, as I mentioned in the video, near this Millau, there is a village called “Roquefort” which produces world-famous blue cheese.
This time we couldn’t stop by due to time constraint, but instead we enjoyed a crepe sandwich filled with local specialty Roquefort at the Miyo Bridge service area.
In addition, the Aveyron department, where Millau is located, is actually a treasure trove of the most beautiful villages in France!
