Well, a little further on, we have a hotel in Luxembourg today instead of Germany. On the way to Luxembourg, we are going to visit Trier, the oldest town in Germany, but we still have time to visit Brûl, so we decided to drive along the Moselle River.
On the way, we stopped at “Bernkastel-Kues”.
Autobahn until halfway. By the way, we passed through “Nürburgring” which is famous for F1. But I got tired of the Autobahn, so I decided to get off the Autobahn and drive along the Mosel.
The timeline is a bit reversed, but this is what the drive along the Moselle River looks like. Really pretty scenery.
Now from Brühl, I think it took us about 2 hours to get there as we didn’t take any breaks. We parked our car in the parking lot of the supermarket (you don’t have to be a shopper to park there) which was right after entering the city and walked around the city a bit.
This place is famous for the Mosel wine region.
The Moselle River is so beautiful and so nice!
But unfortunately, I’m a driver, so I can’t drink wine. But my mother didn’t care about that, she just ordered it on her own… (Note: We had a light lunch here)
My parents and I separated for a bit and I resumed my walk around the city. I walked towards the castle, which is surrounded by vineyards on a small hill.
At first glance, it looked far away, but it wasn’t that far. But it became troublesome and only went to the middle. But the view from there was wonderful. I think it was hot.
It’s almost fall and the grapes are looking good.
We came back to the central square of the city. It’s a small square, but it’s a lovely German landscape.
It was a pity that I couldn’t drink the wine, but I bought it as a souvenir. Let’s drink it slowly later.
It was a short stay, but I was happy to be able to enjoy the weather and the wonderful city and scenery.
