今日はあの地震が起こってからちょうど1年です。
There were a lot of things that happened, such as rolling blackouts and power saving during the summer, but I am doing fine without any change as I live in an area with relatively little damage.
Some of my friends who suffered a lot of damage in the Tohoku area are now doing orchestra activities as usual, although there is still a long way to go to recover. They seem to be doing well.
Although there was a great deal of damage and sad events, I believe that we have gained a high level of experience. At least, how we should act, how we should judge, and what position we should take when a major disaster occurs, I think our way of thinking and our position on these matters have changed since last year.
I don’t like to argue about the principle that “we must not let it fade away”, but at least in my case, I have been able to record the situation and my feelings at that time on Twitter and blog, so it might be a good idea to revisit them from time to time. It might be good to revisit it from time to time.

それにしても、これほどまで人々の価値観が違う、そしていい意味でも悪い意味でも自分と相容れない考え方の人って意外といる、そんなことを強く思った一年でした。
