When I finished my meal, I walked to the hall “Halle aux Grains” again.
Before the show. A lot of guests have gathered.
Map around the hall. Handwritten.
It appears that this hall was built in the 1860s.
Here is the ticket.
There are many kinds of booklets on sale.
Unfortunately, photography was prohibited in the hall. (But I didn’t know that at first, so I took some pictures and got angry. Sorry.
Now, the tune of this day is as follows.
- DEBUSSY:Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune
- RAVEL:Ma mère l’Oie
- CHAVEZ:Sinfonía India
- DEBUSSY:Iberia
- RAVEL:Boléro

And the conductor is ALONDRA DE LA PARRA.

She’s so beautiful! She looks like a model.
The first impression I had was that he was very focused and tense with his baton.
However, they were very lively and dynamic in the exciting parts, of course, but they also made the listeners enjoy themselves at the same time. That’s what I’d call Latin!

I especially liked the Bolero at the end. The way the Bolero was built up was probably one of the best I’ve ever heard live.
But there’s a scary side to it. The flute solo (female) at the beginning of “Pastor God” was not so good. She didn’t seem to be satisfied with it, so she didn’t let the soloist stand up after the performance.
I don’t know if it’s like this in a professional orchestra, but in an amateur orchestra, when they play the Pastorals, they always make the flute stand first. I was a little curious.
As for the orchestra itself, the orchestra’s ability to express “French things” was as good as I imagined it would be, or maybe even better. As I recall, this orchestra performed in Japan about 10 years ago. I remembered that I heard it for the first time there and fell in love with its tone. I fell in love with it so much that I bought a lot of Plasson’s CDs after that.
Another important factor, the sound of the hall, was also good. I was concerned about the building being older and more shabby than I expected, but it seems my fears were unfounded.
It was a very satisfying two hours of classical music in Europe after a long absence.
トゥールーズ滞在はこの日まで。翌日からはまたある意味苛酷なフランスの美しい村巡りとなります。(続く)
