Our tour of the beautiful villages of the Dordogne continues. The third place of the day, Belves, is about 30 minutes away from Castelnaud-la-Chapelle. It’s really dense.
We went to the village from the north, but in that case, you can see the whole view of the village like this. I had to take a picture of it, after all.
The green was really vivid.
We head to the entrance of the village, which is located on a slightly elevated hill. The parking space is big enough. It may be a relatively large one in a beautiful village.
From this parking lot, you can reach the central square of the village in less than a minute.
After all, this hall (Halle) in the center is the most impressive.
The houses of the village that surround the Halle are very beautiful.
さてさてこちらの村ですが、wikipedia（フランス語）によりますと、非常に歴史のある地域なんですね。
I can’t read French very well, so I haven’t read all the details, but if you look at the words and years in the historical explanations, there are a lot of explanations from the Visigoths in the 4th and 5th century, to the Frankish kingdom, and the Middle Ages.
I think I need to relearn the history of medieval Europe as well as French in order to read this properly… I chose world history, but I don’t remember much.
Still, there is almost no information about the most beautiful villages in France, but French wikipedia often explains them in detail.
Among them, the explanation of this village seems to be particularly detailed.
The exploration of such a historic and beautiful village continues. Starting from the central square, we tried to go into the alleyways and back, and we walked around the village in this way.
After almost halfway around the city, we came back to the parking lot.
We still have a lot of time. The next village is also in the Dordogne region, and it’s very close, only about 20 minutes away.
