After all, everlasting summer is best at the pool!
It was a strong schedule for three days and one night in Dubai, but I was able to fully enjoy it, so I will report on it several times.

Al Qasr, Madinah, Jumeirah.
It was past 2:00 p.m. when I finished enjoying Burj Khalifa, so it was time to go to the hotel. It took us about 20 minutes to drive back to the parking lot and take the expressway from there. We arrived at Madinah Jumeirah area where we will stay today.
The location is around here.
On the way, I saw “Burj Al Arab” which is one of the symbols of Dubai.
でもここには泊まりません、泊まれません（笑）。今日、宿泊するホテルは[highlight]「アル カスル マディナ ジュメイラ」[/highlight]です。ブルジュ・アル・アラブほど高級ではありませんが、同じマディナ・ジュメイラエリアにある5つ星の高級ホテルです。
マディナ ジュメイラは、ショッピングモールやブライベートビーチ、そしてプールなどがある複合施設となっています。ホテルに宿泊しなくてもこの施設は使えるようです。その場合は駐車場代および使用料が別途かかるようですが、[highlight]ホテル宿泊者は駐車場代および施設利用料はタダです[/highlight]。ホテル宿泊者はマディナ ジュメイラに入る交差点より少し南側の専用入り口から入れます。入り口は閉まっていますが、守衛さんがいるので、「ホテル予約してます」とか適当に伝えたらすぐに開けてくれました。
A short walk up the hill from this entrance brings you to the entrance of the hotel grounds, as soon as we arrived and parked our car, we were greeted by the hotel staff who took our car luggage out of the trunk and carried it to us. We just had to get out of the car to make sure we didn’t forget anything.
We were then escorted to the front desk by another staff member.
I’m sorry I didn’t take many pictures inside the hotel, but the interior was very beautiful, as expected of a 5-star hotel in Dubai. And sparkling.
To be honest, I’m not really interested in hotels themselves. Normally, I’m the kind of person who thinks that the restaurant is more important than the hotel’s facilities.
チェックインに関連した各種手続きを待っている間、冷たい飲み物を持ってきてくれました。僕はオレンジジュースを注文。その飲み物を飲んでいるとき、日本人スタッフさんがやってきました。どうやらホテルには数名の日本語が話せるスタッフがいるとのことです。常にフロント付近にはいないが、もし必要ならば呼んでくださいということでとても安心です。結局、最初の時以外にお会いすることはありませんでしたが、もしなにかあったときを考えると非常に安心ですね。
そんな日本人スタッフさんしばらくしてもろもろの用意ができたようなのでいよいよ部屋に向かいます。5つ星とはいえ、格安ツアー（DeNAトラベル）経由での申し込みなので、海の見える側の部屋ではありませんでしたが、それでも広いリビングと広い寝室、そして立派なバスルームを備えるスイートルームを用意してもらえたようです。たった一日だけですが、久しぶりのホテルで贅沢できてわくわくしてきました。
Go to the private beach and private pool.
After being shown to our room, we dropped off our luggage, changed our clothes, and immediately headed to our private beach. Because it’s a forced schedule!
ビーチへは徒歩数分なのですが、とにかく暑い（[highlight]気温は40度！[/highlight]）ので、歩いて向かうのは挫折。しかし、ゴルフのカート（バギーと呼んでいました）のようなもので、マディナ ジュメイラ内を自由に移動することができます。ホテルの1Fのバギー乗り場へ行くと、係の人が常に数人待機しているので、「ビーチへ行きたい」と伝えるとすぐに連れて行ってくれます。
Then we arrived at the beach after a few minutes of rocking in the buggy.
ビーチには係の人がいまして、我々がプライベートビーチ敷地内へ入ろうとすると、声をかけてきてくれて、幾つかパラソルつきの椅子が置いてあるスペースのうち、我々が気に入ったパラソルまでガイドしてくれました。さらに、人数分のバスタオル、そして数本のミネラルウォーターを支給してくれます。水は氷バケツに入れてもらえます。その場所までタオルと水を持ってきてくれます。要するに手ぶらで行ってOK。お水は大変助かります。
さてさて、肝心のビーチですが、水質はすごく良いですが、とにかく[highlight]お湯みたいに熱くて全く気持ちよくない！！[/highlight]これは正直残念過ぎる。とはいえ景色と雰囲気は最高。気分だけは十分満喫。
ビーチ自体もとても暑かったので30分程度で切り上げて、すぐ裏向かいの[highlight]「アル・カスル・プール」[/highlight]に向かいました。
こちらは水も冷たくて気持ちいい！人が多いのも納得。ここでもプールサイドのパラソルのところを適当に陣取り、係の人からバスタオルを受け取ることができます。
After all, this heat, the pool is the best.
We enjoyed the pool for less than an hour, and it was more than enough to cool off. And when the sun was getting a little dark, we went back to the hotel by buggy again.
Dinner at Souk Madina Jumeirah
部屋に戻ってシャワーを浴び、少し休憩して夜、ホテルの隣にある[highlight]「スーク マディナ ジュメイラ」[/highlight]に向かいここで夕食をとることにしました。
となりの敷地ですが、建物内がダイレクトにつながっているわけではないので、一旦外にでる必要があります。日は暮れても非常に蒸し暑い夜のドバイだけにちょっとつらい…。
To be honest, the souk was not interesting at all because it was just a souvenir shop area. There were no people at night, so it may be a factor that I did not feel interesting.
Although I took a nap several times on the way, I was very tired because I enjoyed early morning arrival, shopping mall, Burj Khalifa, beach and pool, so I chose a restaurant without hesitation for dinner. In a way? We went to an Arab restaurant. I ordered a special set. It was a lot of food, but the taste was good.
By the way, there was alcohol. I ordered Stella Artois (Pilsner beer). It seems you can drink it in Dubai if you choose the place. This is great for tourists.
When we finished eating, I was at my physical peak, whether it was from the heat or simply from being tired. As soon as I got back to my room, I collapsed into bed. Thus ended our hard first day. However, I’m going to have a lot of fun tomorrow, and then I’m going back to Japan by the night flight.
