I went to “GUSTAVO Ningyocho”. I want to go there again.

Visited last night. It was very good and I’ll make a note of it.

Less than a minute walk from the station, the location is perfect. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also nice.

They are proud of their wine and cured ham. A very rich variety of cured ham is as expected.

They also seem to have a good selection of Italian wines on hand. In terms of area, are most of them from the central and northern part of the country? It must be because they are particular about cured ham.

By the way, I’m personally happy to see that the wine list is “by region” and “by state”.

Now I’ll have to go back to Italy to actually eat ham…. I wonder if I should continue to visit beautiful villages.

The food was also wonderful. On this day, we had the “Roasted Misakura Chicken with Finanzella Sauce”. The sauce was made with Marsala wine, which has a perfect combination of sourness and sweetness.

The price is a little high, but it is not that high because it is Italian. The price is reasonable for this grade. However, I thought the wine selection could be a little more reasonable.

One of the best restaurants to revisit.

By the way, there was a wine from Puglia, which I visited on my GW trip the other day. It’s called “Artamura” and the variety is Primitivo.

It was much more sophisticated and tasty than the cheap Primitivo we had there, but I thought it was a little too sweet. The price was quite good, so it must be one of the most expensive wines.

By the way, I’ve been to the town of Altamura. We passed through it on our way from Matera, a World Heritage Site, to Del Monte Castle. It was especially memorable because we were hit by torrential rain in this town. That’s how I ended up asking for it.
