Because I have it myself, but I think that the MiTo has the best driving feeling compared with Giulietta.
There may be a difference between the feeling of the European specification that I experienced in Giulietta and the Japanese specification that I experience daily in MiTo, but I felt that MiTo is more responsive and powerful with simplicity.
I remember I was a little disappointed with Giulietta because I felt it was too delicate to drive like Japanese specification. For example, the steering is loose, the accelerator doesn’t respond unless you step on the accelerator, and the accelerator doesn’t respond well even though it is D mode.
It is true that Giulietta is very good looking and functional, but I thought MiTo is more satisfying when I think only of pure driving.
I also think the interior of the MiTo is cooler.
I like the MiTo’s curved dashboard design. On that note, I think Giulietta is a bit square and not so sexy.
There was a time when I almost cheated to Citroen DS series or Giulietta of Alfa, but I think MiTo is comfortable.
I haven’t spent much time with MiTo lately, but I’m still very satisfied with it, and I don’t plan to part with it for a while and will keep driving it.
By the way, the color of the body, “White” has really increased, hasn’t it? In fact, the number of the standard “Alpha Red” is rather small these days.
I bought the MiTo in January 2010, and I didn’t see many white Alfa Romeos on the streets at that time. The dealer at that time told me that it was around 2009 when the MiTo was released that the white color started to be available.
He added, “Actually, red hardly sells in Europe these days. It’s mostly white and black.” He also said. At that time, I thought, “It’s true that I haven’t seen much red in Europe.
That’s why I dared to buy the white one in 2010, when it was still a minor item.
After that, I think that white became major at once by the Japanese debut of Giulietta.
