Date of visit: May 16, 2013, around 6:00 p.m.
From the Alps to central France again, the fourth beautiful village of the day, Sainte Croix-en-Jarlaise.
The weather managed to hold out for us in Boneval-sur-Arc and Saint-Antoine Lavey, but unfortunately the last visit of the day was rained out.
It was raining hard and we were tired from the long drive, so we took a quick walk with only our iPhones.
As it was a weekday night, there were hardly any people in the village, but there seemed to be accommodation and restaurants.
Nevertheless, the rain was so strong that the sightseeing was over in about 10 minutes.
This was the village I took the least photos of on this trip.
If I had been in good health and the weather had been fine, I might have been able to walk around a little more slowly and feel the unique charm of this village.
This day’s tour of beautiful villages was over. We stayed overnight at a hotel in the suburbs of Sainte-Tienne to recover from the long drive.
