昨年のHiggs粒子の発見、宇宙マイクロ波のB-モード偏光観測などに刺激されて、ちょっと昔勉強したことを思い出そうかなあと思って、最近このような本を読み始めました。
I bought it a long time ago.
Especially this book on particle theory is very good for organizing and reviewing your understanding. However, as far as I can see, it doesn’t seem to mention much about renormalization, so I don’t think it’s suitable for serious study of theoretical physics. You can’t understand those calculations unless you move your hands all over.
I’ve done a lot of work in this area in the past, so I don’t think I need to redo it now (laughs).
Knowledge that doesn’t help you at work, but is a great hobby?
