So far, I’ve just written about the beautiful villages in the order I visited them, but with 156 places to visit, it’s time to organize them again. So I thought it would be easier to find them if they were grouped by region, so I decided to make a list and categorize them.
What are French regions (régions)?
The regional area of France (French: région) is the largest regional administrative division in France, and is considered to be the equivalent of a province. In Japanese literature on the geography, history, culture, and tourism of France, it is more often translated as “region” or “province”.
