Artistic three-day weekend

Ensemble Union

An ensemble concert by an acquaintance. It was held on Saturday.

Carl Reinecke Trio for Piano, Oboe, and Horn, Op.188

Ludwig van Beethoven Septet in E-flat major, Op.20

All of them are voluminous and difficult pieces that test the individual’s ability and technique. Even though they are amateurs, they are challenging and wonderful. I was very impressed by their breathtaking performance.

Incidentally, I think I ended up drinking beer from noon to night that day.

Shibuya Symphony Orchestra

It is a concert of the orchestra which an acquaintance performs again. It was held on Sunday.

W.A.Mozart / Overture to “Così fan tutte” KV.588

S. Rachmaninoff / Piano Concerto No.2 in C minor, Op.18

R. Schumann / Symphony No.3 in E-flat major, Op.97 “Rhine

Personally, I was very familiar with all the songs and enjoyed them from the beginning to the end. After all, piano concertos are great.

Schumann, I knew you’d like it…

Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennial

This kind of thing is done in Tokamachi, Niigata, in a place called Echigo-Tsumari.

The last day of the three-day weekend, it was a forced day trip, but I decided to go and see it just for interest. I also wanted to drive a little.

I was so tired from moving around most of the time that I could only see some of the works after all, but I thought it was more interesting than I expected. There were quite a few people there.

Even so, I think I was able to experience a bit of the “artistic” atmosphere. Next time, I’d like to go around a little more tightly.

I didn’t do anything of my own volition, but thanks to my many wonderful acquaintances, I enjoyed my artistic holiday more than I expected.

つながりって大事だなあとも強く感じた週末でした。
