I was going to come back in March, but I hadn’t had a lesson in a while because of the earthquake on March 11.
As you can imagine, it was impossible to go to the lesson under such circumstances, and I heard that the teacher’s house was blacked out, so I cancelled the lesson for the time being, and after that, March was over before I knew it.
So I’ve been blanked out quite a bit.
Since it’s been a while since I’ve had a lesson, the main focus of the lesson was to check my embouchure, to see if I’ve developed any strange habits since I haven’t played the horn for about two months. But he pointed out that my lips might be less flexible because I had been absent for a while.
This has been an issue for some time. We are now focusing on the practice of changing notes in octaves, and it seems that this situation will continue for a while. I tend to play notes in the upper octave with a lot of energy, so I’d like to make progress with your help so that I don’t develop a strange habit of doing so.
来週も土曜日朝に予約しております。でも旅行いってしまうから今月はこれで終わりかなー。完全復帰は5月以降になりそうです。
