Since the trip lasts nearly 20 days, laundry is naturally a serious problem.
In fact, I only bring three sets of underwear t-shirts and socks, two shirts to wear on top, one pair of jeans, and two jackets.
If it’s hot during the day, I’ll wear a T-shirt, so shirts are okay as long as I wear them appropriately, and I wear jeans every day. A jacket is for when it’s cold.
So you will need to spend almost three weeks in three sets of so-called underwear.
That’s why I do my laundry every day.
Fortunately, Europe is drier than Japan, and if you stay in a hotel of a certain class or 3 stars, you can dry out overnight, so it is surprisingly manageable.
Even if it doesn’t get even drier, I keep driving these days, so I move and dry it while drying it in the car.
And in weather like this, you can definitely leave it on the dashboard to dry out! Well, it looks like that, but….
Doing laundry every day may be a hassle, but once you get into the habit, it doesn’t have to be such a hassle.
By the way, I sent my shirt to be cleaned this time because I stayed 3 nights in Barcelona.
It was only 6 euros and it was clean and delivered in the morning and at night, so I realized that it was quite useful.
