Well, it’s Golden Week from tomorrow, and my departure will be a little later, but I’m planning to do a lot of preparation this weekend.
One of them is locating hotels. We don’t book hotels for all dates, but we do book them in advance for key locations.
When I drive, it is difficult to stop and look for a hotel in the city, so I mark it on Google Map in advance, but in doing this, Google Map of iOS is convenient anyway.
These days, you can access Google Maps on your Mac browser and search for the name of the hotel you’ve already booked, and unless it’s a very minor hotel, you can probably find it with a search.
Then, just add the hotels you searched for to your favorites = Stars.
Then, lo and behold, it’s automatically recorded as a favorite in the Google Maps app on iOS!
I remember I had a hard time with this Google Map app because it wasn’t released yet in Greece last October.
I’ve been traveling with my iPhone for five years now, and it’s amazing how far it’s come. It’s become an indispensable travel item.
