Travel to Basque Country, Spain GW 2016: a compilation

It took me about five months to write up my 2016 GW series on my trip to the Basque Country in Spain, from mid-May to mid-October, when I was finishing my trip. Maybe it is the longest ever.

I was trying to write additional information.

For the past two years or so, I’ve been trying to write articles with as much additional information as possible, based on the pamphlets I’ve received at the site, sometimes books, and of course the internet, rather than just pasting pictures and adding simple comments. I think this is the reason why it took me 5 months to update this site.

Except for the “Most Beautiful Villages in Spain” and “Most Beautiful Villages in France” series and their compilation, here are three articles in this volume that I particularly liked.

I chose the city of Teruel, where we stayed on the second day, as the third place. The inside of the city was nice, but I was strongly impressed that the inside of the cathedral of San Pedro Church was especially beautiful. It is one of the cities I would like to spend time in again. Next time I would like to have a meal at a nice restaurant.

2016年GW スペインの旅 No.14：世界遺産巡り No.8 「ビスカヤ橋」

Why World Heritage? The Vizcaya Bridge, which can be enjoyed as an attraction, has been ranked as one of the best. It was a little windy day, but we were blessed with good weather and it was great. I don’t recommend it for those who are afraid of heights.
