May 15, today is the longest drive of this trip. It’s about 700km.
First, Montclus, about 100 km from Sant’Emini.
From there, we traveled quickly through Provence to the beautiful village of Gassin on the Cote d’Azur.
This round trip is about 600km.
So we went here and it was a long drive.
Actually, Gassin is a village I’ve missed twice in the past, and I wasn’t planning to go there this time either, but when I thought about my future plans, I decided to change my plans and go there.
But for all my hard work, I guess it wasn’t much…
And after that. It was 7:30 in the evening when I arrived at Le Poet-Laval, which is located in the Rhône-Alpes region, not far from the border with Provence.
We decided to stay here because it was a small village but had good accommodation facilities.
It was a rainy day, but fortunately it wasn’t raining when we arrived at Montclus, Gassin.
However, it was raining in Le Poet-Laval where we decided to stay. Moreover, it was late at night, so I didn’t take any pictures of the village yet. I’ll try to take some pictures before breakfast tomorrow.
But from now on, we have a long drive ahead of us, as long as today, or even longer…. I wonder if I can endure it.
If I make it this far, I want to conquer all the villages in mainland France this time.
ということで明日も辺鄙なところにある村を目指します。
