Clervaux is a small town about 30 minutes to the northwest from Viandin. I took a hotel here on this day. I made a reservation on Booking.com the day before.
It took us more than an hour to get there because we got a little lost from Viandan. The road on the way looks like this.
The roads in Luxembourg are wide and very nicely paved, which is good, but actually the curves are kind of hard to turn. Maybe it’s because I tend to speed up because the roads are wide.
Well, I arrived in Clerveaux at 7 o’clock in the evening. I arrived at Clerveaux at about 7:00 in the evening, but to be honest, there was not much to see and there was no scenery… it was such a town. I was so tired that I didn’t take any pictures at all (laugh).
Anyway, I parked my car at the central square and checked in to the reserved hotel facing the square. We had a dinner at the hotel after killing time in the room for a while.
Only, this was so simple, yet so delicious!
Good wine in Luxembourg!
A regular full course, but not that expensive. I think it was not more than 30 euros with wine.
It is very Germanic to have such cream on it. It’s more like Germany, but the language is mixed with French. By the way, traffic signs are very close to French. I think official documents are in French. English is understood in hotels and so on, but unexpectedly in rural areas, English is not always understood. That was unexpected.
After dinner, I went to bed after sorting out some data. I left this city after 7 o’clock next morning.
So this is just a diary of my one night stay. I’m sorry it’s not a review of the city at all.
