I learned about this guidebook from a woman I know.
Actually, while I was traveling in Paris last month, through twitter, I was asked to buy this! I received a request through twitter.
Le petit Lebey 2011 des bistrots parisiens
Lebey Editions
But I tried to go around bookstores in between sightseeing for about half a day, but I couldn’t find a bookstore that had this book… In the end, he bought it from Amazon in France by himself.
I borrowed a little of this book the other day, so I took a quick look at it. Yes, it’s a very easy-to-read guidebook, whether you can read the words or not.
It seems to have grades like Michelin, but it’s not as complicated and simple as Michelin. It’s a bistro to begin with, so it’s easy on the budget and in terms of atmosphere.
The book is categorized by area of Paris and is easy to read. I never get tired of looking at it without any particular purpose.
I haven’t had a chance to look at it properly yet, but it looks like they have a great website again.

I hope I can take this with me next time I go to Paris. I think I’ll buy it on Amazon too.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is traveling to Paris.
