I wish the quality of the wine by the glass would be a little better.

10. Hobby Generalessay

Last Friday and Sunday, I had a couple of light glasses of wine at a bistro and a bar, but I was not satisfied with either of them.

The French bistro was still good, but the Italian glass wine at the nearby bar was really bad…

We drank Sicilian wine, the grape variety is Grillo, yes, I wrote about it in this blog the other day, but it is a popular variety in Sicily.

I can taste the grillo, but it’s not this “out of place”.

It is true that there may be a difference from the local. But even for me, even if it’s a good one there, say 20 Euros, or 30 Euros at the most, if I buy it locally and drink it at home, it’s not that far off, and when I drink it, I can honestly remember the taste of the wine when I was traveling.

Is what they serve by the glass of wine a very poor product?

Given today’s transportation technology, I don’t think the quality will deteriorate that much during import.

I know there are a lot of good restaurants, but I would like to see better quality wines by the glass become more prevalent. I’m especially hoping for an improvement in the quality of Italian wines.

I had a glass of “California Pinot Noir” at Tokyu Square in Musashikosugi Station a week before, and it was very good.

I hope there are more and more “hits” like this.

By the way, it’s been a long time since I’ve been to a French bistro, very nice.

I haven’t tasted foie gras in a long time. It’s in this pie crust.

Oh my gosh, the website is so nice.

こういうところは、定時に退社してさくっと1時間で一人ご飯感覚で利用したいかも。予約要らないし、予約の人が来る前に帰れるから。
