There are only two more of France’s most beautiful villages in mainland Europe that I have yet to visit.

One of them is Saint Quirin, quietly nestled in the mountains of the Lorraine region in northeastern France.

It is a bit far from Alsace, where there is a high concentration of beautiful villages. It is an hour or an hour and a half away from the main town of Lorraine, Metz, but it is also a bit difficult to visit because of the narrow roads.

As for parking, I had no trouble at all because you can do it everywhere.

It is this church after all. It is very big and splendid. It is worth seeing, and the interior is also very beautiful. Well, it is a very small village, but I think it is worthy of being chosen as a beautiful village enough just to have this.

There is a small chapel on high ground, so we head there.

A small chapel with a sense of history. Unfortunately, we could not go inside.

After a quick tour of the village, we returned to the car and headed for our overnight stop in Metsu. It was a long and fulfilling day.

いよいよ明日は最終日、ヨーロッパ本土にあるフランスの最も美しい村は残すところあとひとつ!
