So, in the early morning of April 20, 2015, I started the Apple Watch opening ceremony in a riad in Marrakech. Here is the stage.
First of all, the box is long and big. It is rather disturbing.
Here is a set of contents.
And finally, the watch is opened. It might be cooler than expected.
setup
I was anxious about how much I could do the setting while traveling, but I heard that I could do the initial setting without much communication according to various information, so I challenged the setting. As for the conclusion, I was able to finish the initial setting without a big load though it took time by the extent that I selected a language setting and some apps available for Apple Watch as surely as information.
In the force touch function, you can also use it when you do the other “map address search”. There still seem to be few applications that can utilize this force touch effectively, but I look forward to its development in the future.
As for the belt size, two sizes (S/M and M/L) were available by default. When shipped, the S/M belt is installed.
It seemed to be able to be attached somehow even in this size, but I replaced it with the belt of one upper size M/L with room. It is very easy to replace, and Apple has thought this through very well.
So, in my case, I use a M/L size belt and use the third hole from the bottom to secure it as you can see.
Is the size of the wrist circumference like 160mm or 170mm? Is it thin for a man?
For example, every time you receive an email at the office, the iPhone on silent mode on your desk shakes, which is quite surprising. It’s the same when you have your iPhone in your breast pocket.
At first glance, this may seem like an unimportant feature, but once you try it, I think you’ll find it useful and comfortable. But it’s still hard to convey in writing, so I’m not sure I’ll get much support!
“Map, car navigation” function
I actually used it in Morocco and I think it is quite comfortable to use. It’s convenient because it vibrates to let you know when you are approaching a turn.
However, Apple’s map function itself needs to be more developed. It’s also true that it’s easier to handle the iPhone when it’s fixed to the dashboard of the car and used in conjunction with it.
However, I used it for the first time in a long time, and I think that it improved a lot from before. In fact, Google map was not able to do voice guidance in Morocco, but Apple’s one was able to do, you know. I realized that it becomes much easier to drive when there is a voice guide again.
It’s about Tesla’s self-driving capabilities, where the car already has self-driving capabilities, and it’s just a matter of waiting for the software and the system to respond.
This is something that goes hand in hand with the Apple Watch, and it’s what I’m most excited about with this new gadget. However, this may be an aspect that is difficult to understand in the traditional Japanese way of thinking.
Conversely, the Apple Watch will need to go through this process to establish support. For that to happen, it should depend on how well the upgrade goes this fall.
