Date of visit: April 25, 2011, around 10:00 a.m.
This village is next to “Candes-Saint-Martin” which I introduced last time. It is right next to each other. There are many beautiful villages in the area, but I think this is the only one where beautiful villages are located next to each other.
However, compared to Cand Saint Martin, there is not much to see in the village itself… At most, there is only this chateau.
But this is the Loire – there are plenty of lovely châteaux to choose from.
However, if you look at it as a “village”, it is still smaller and more charming than other towns where the castle is the main attraction.
And actually, the best way to get a full view of the village is to go to the other side of the river, but this was a difficult task.
This is the way to go.
It had rained the day before, so the road was muddy. The car is covered with mud.
But it was worth the effort and we were able to get to this park.
It was a little hazy and not so good. But I managed to take a picture from the opposite shore.
I couldn’t have driven like this 5 years ago (laughs) It’s evolved.
Oops, this bridge I passed on my way across to the other side of the river was interesting.
結局、Montsoreau(モンソロー)とCandes-Saint-Martin(カンド・サン・マルタン)の周辺を右往左往していたかなり時間が経過してしまいました。予定が大幅に狂った…。とりあえず東へと戻ります。
