I made a Présentation (self-introduction), using Google Translate – French Learning Record No.3

Language study

I’m listening to a podcast today, but not a report on it, but something with a different purpose.

This is so funny!

But I’m worried about trusting this translation too much, so I’m going to use the English that I can do for a little bit.

And I made a French sentence like this.

Bonjour.

Hello, I’m Yuu Komata. My name is Yuu Komata. I’m Japanese.

I live in Kawasaki, near Tokyo.

I have just started studying French.

When I was a student, I studied physics first, but now I work at a financial institution. My main job is quantitative analysis of the stock market.

My hobbies include violin, traveling in Europe, music, photography, Mac and iPhone.

I am a violinist and I belong to an amateur orchestra. Last year, I participated in four orchestra concerts.

And I like to travel in Europe.

I love France, so I often travel to France. So far, I have been to France six times. Last year, I went to France to visit “the most beautiful villages in France”.

Recently, I’ve been addicted to driving in Europe. I enjoy driving in Europe, especially in Germany and France.

We are planning to travel to Normandy and Brittany in France this April as well. Of course we will rent a car.

I am going to study very hard to be able to speak French more.

What do you think? Doesn’t that sound plausible?

I thought I checked if there were any strange expressions while referring to English a little. It’s enough if you can understand the meaning (laugh). I hope there is someone who can correct me.

The one drawback is pronunciation. I haven’t figured it out yet! There’s a function in Google Translate that reads sentences for you, but it’s too fast and I can’t hear anything at all… Well, I guess I’ll just have to learn it slowly.
