I’m writing this blog in a restaurant in Alberobello. Because I don’t have a signal and I’m bored. And I have a feeling it will be very whiny.

I had planned to visit Alberobello on my trip to Italy seven years ago, but I had to give up my visit due to a car trouble in Amalfi.

So to speak, it was the humiliation of seven years ago. However, from my experience of visiting various places of interest, world heritage sites and beautiful villages in Europe in the seven years since then, I was rather disappointed with the atmosphere and the mundaneness of the tourists.

Well, the first thing I did this day was to go to Cape Leuca, the tip of the Salento Peninsula.

The town at the tip of the heel was very quiet and very pleasant, with only the sound of wind and waves.

There are two beautiful villages, Presicce and Specchia, just 10 minutes away from Cape Leuca, but I was disappointed to find that both of them are very disappointing.

It is true that even the most beautiful villages in France had their disappointments. But Italy’s most beautiful villages have far too many such disappointments.

Even in the villages that I liked, they were not as colorful and varied as in France, but rather monotonous, usually located on cliffs, etc.

Also, it’s not good to have a large scale. The most beautiful villages in France have to have a population of less than 2,000 people, and I felt that this had a big impact.

In the first place, I guess the association is not as strong and the standards are not as strict as in France. I have a feeling that it’s not good enough.

So far, the pattern has been the same, and the chances of hitting a good village are low, and even if you do hit a good village, it’s only normal or slightly above normal compared to the ones in France.

And there were too few points for taking photos. It may be that I’m just not good at it, but I think there were so many points in French villages where even an amateur can easily take beautiful pictures.

In addition, driving manners and road conditions are the worst. I thought it was not worth spending a lot of time and money on this GW, which is only once a year, if there are only disappointing situations even if I drive hard in such a situation and arrive at the destination.

Maybe next year we’ll change things up and tour the beautiful islands….

Thinking about that, we went to the end of the Appian Way. This was a town without anything, but the atmosphere was good. There were a few tourists here and there.

It is true that the two villages near Alberobello, Cisternino and Locorotondo, which we visited later, were beautiful. However, they were not as impressive as the villages in France.

After all, it is not good that the town is too big. It’s a long way from arriving at the village to the so-called old town. In other words, the new town, residential area is too big. I think this is the main reason why the landscape is spoiled.

The hotel was nice, but the Alberobello was kind of mundane. The hotel was nice, but the Alberobello was kind of mundane, so I was disappointed. The hotel was good, but Alberobello was kind of mundane.

And the food here is really bad… It’s soggy, stingy, messy.

The wines of Puglia are also hard to describe. The red wine is rather famous, so I tried it, but it was too acidic and unrefined, and I didn’t like it. I wonder if the wine here was just not good.

I miss the food in Sicily.

I rented a Wi-Fi box, but it didn’t work either. We rented a Wi-Fi box, but it didn’t work either. The room itself was nice, but….

So I have to spend the night with no internet access.

However, when I remembered many things in the internet room, when I started the tour of the beautiful villages in France, there were many villages without much to see, and I felt like I had made a mistake. And I think I felt a similar melancholy during the last three days.

I wonder if the tour of Italy’s most beautiful villages is the same after all, or if I’ll be addicted to it after that…

旅はあと2日続きます…。
