I rented a car twice on this trip. The company is Europcar, which I am familiar with every time.
We stayed in Barcelona for three days to watch the F1 race, so we knew in advance that we wouldn’t be using the car at all for those three days.
First of all, Paris. In Paris, I rented it at Terminal 2 of Charles de Gaulle airport. More specifically, 2E.
The offices of major car rental companies such as Hertz and AVIS, including Europcar where I rented a car, are located in the parking space outside on the same floor as the arrival floor.

I think it is relatively easy to rent a car at this airport because the office to rent a car is located in the parking lot and it is not so far from the arrival lobby. Well, maybe it was because it was early in the morning, but the clerk was not very helpful…. Well, it’s a coincidence.

The place we rented this time is “Sants Station” which is the gateway to Barcelona.
Our office is located behind Sants station (opposite to the direction to the center), on the side where the taxi stand is.

At the car rental office, you will receive a small piece of paper along with your key, which you can give to the hotel counter and they will guide you to the parking lot. You will also receive a ticket when you leave the parking lot.
Barcelona Sants Station, in terms of ease of renting, is “very good!” I think it is in the category.
If you rent a car in the city, it is not recommended because there are many cars and the roads are complicated, so you need to be used to driving in Europe to some extent.
空港と比べるとクルマの選択肢が少なくなるのかなあ、なんて思ってはいましたが、実際にはどこで借りても希望通り、予定通りのクルマが出てくることは稀なので、いまではあまり来にしないことにしています。
