Reuters’ smartphone version is now easier to “share”.

2月からはちょっと英語強化ということで、経済金融関連のニュースは、先に英語版に目を通してから日本語の記事を読む(もしくは読まない)ということにチャレンジしています。

I’m still looking for the details of how it happened, and how to study it, so I’d like to write about it in my blog again when I’ve sorted it out, but first I’d like to write about something I noticed this morning.

That’s because the smartphone version of Reuters (English website) has become easier to “share”.

While I was commuting to work today, I started up the Reuters (English version) site registered in Google Reader with my iPhone, and it looked like this.

Well, as usual, you’ve only just noticed it? (laughs)

Anyway, it’s certainly not uncommon nowadays to support smartphones, but

っていうタイプのリンクがあるものはあまり見かけないなあと思います。

At any rate, when I pressed it, I got a screen like this.

It’s like a lightbox. I think I’ve seen this type before, but in any case, this format is easy to see and tap.

When you select “twitter”, the login screen starts up in Safari as usual, and when the login finishes, the twitter post screen is displayed in this Lightbox format.

ああこれってもしかしてSafariでhttps://mobile.twitter.com/でつぶやくときと同じ画面なんですね。

I like this one, it’s easy to tweet.

But I think it’s this type that you usually see more often.

This is the type that pushes the button which is familiar to us now.

It’s not that it’s hard to use, but I think the mobile.twitter.com-like version has a bigger screen and is easier to read and use…

I also tried the other two, Email and Facebook.

Surprisingly, I’d probably send it via Email to Evernote or something!

Now, if we can share it with some nice comments, it will be perfect.
